Authentication Using Modulation Domain Watermarking

摘要

Digital watermarking is typically applied to identify audio or image data copyright ownership. This paper propose a flexible and low complexity framework for authentication at the physical layer where the authentication information is embedded as watermarking into the baseband modulated waveforms of main messages. This authentication scheme is stealthy to uninformed users, robust to channel interference and secure for the verification of identity and information integrity. Performance analyses are presented that demonstrate the potential application to strengthen wireless communication systems security.
