Vaeious designs of frequency-stabilized three-resonant circuit oscillating systems with inverting and transforming networks intended for matching immitances of a high-Q resonator and an active element rep- resented by a one-port, which is called by the generalizing term negatron, are studied. Uniqueness criteria for the operating mode with high frequency stability in the form of requirements, which the negatron resonant cir cuit must satisfy, are derived. Conditions for achieving the highest frequency stability for a given minimum admissible margin of regeneration are considered. Experimental results for a microwave transistor oscillator with a bulk-acoustic-wave stabilizing resonator designed using the developed relationships and recommenda- tions are presented.
