Complex Waves of a Narrow Anisotropically Conducting Strip

The properties of leaky waves of a narrow strip with anisotropic conductivity are investigated. The complex longitudinal and transverse wavenumbers are calculated. It is established that such a strip can support leaky waves, both direct and backward, that are characterized by a weak leakage. The domains of existence of these waves are determined. The results of calculations of surface currents at several frequency points are presented.
