摘要

Diffraction of a plane wave incident on a spherical spirally conducting particle in the direction of its axis is considered. The problem is solved by the method of decomposition of fields into spherical harmonics using a generalization of the Mie theory. For the field scattered by a particle, which is small in comparison with the wavelength, an analytical solution is obtained in terms of the electric and magnetic Hertz vectors and the dipole matrix that describes the chiral effect occurring in the transverse direction with respect to the particle axis. The complete matrix of the dipole moments of a particle is presented that takes into account transverse and longitudinal chiral effects.
