Explicit expressions are obtained for multidimensional cumulants of arbitrary phase shift-keyed (PSK) and amplitude-phase shift-keyed (APSK) signals, including those with the Nyquist spectrum, as well as minimal frequency shift-keyed (MSK) and dual phase shift-keyed signals with the quadrature offset by half of a time step. Some properties of characteristics of these signals are studied in the general context of the theory of stochastic processes. In this connection, special aspects of the theory of periodic and almost periodic processes are considered.
