摘要

The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for short radio reflected from a ground surface is studied experimentally (under field conditions and on models), and a technique for estimating this parameter is described. It is shown that, in this wavelength range, under urban conditions (large city), the terrain scatters ~20-30/100 of the incident power.
