Comparative Analysis of Different Methods of Calculating Magnetron Characteristics

摘要

A comparative analysis of different methods of approximate calculations of magnetron characteristics is performed. The methods are elaborated by V.F.Kovalenko, E.D. Shlifer, S.I. Bychkov, J.R.M. Vaughan, and V.I. Petrochenkov, and the calculation programs are based on the formulas proposed by these authors. The data are compared with the results obtained by rigorous approaches developed by G.L. Sobolev, T.Simizu, and S.V. Vasil'ev. The characteristics and parameters of different types of magnetrons calculated by these methods are compared with the results obtained by the method proposed by the author.
