摘要

Diffraction of an arbitrarily shaped TEM-pulse by an aperture in a planar screen is investigated by the analytical Huygens-Kirchhoff method. Evolution of an electromagnetic pulse (EP) radiated from the rectangular aperture is studied in the case of a Gaussian pulse. The main attention is paid to the consideration of modes of the formation of EPs propagating with an anomalously low energy decay.
