摘要

A method for solving the problem of scattering of a plane electromagnetic wave by a microstrip periodic array made of narrow strips (in comparison with the wavelength) of arbitrary form is proposed. The analysis of polarization of the reflected field is performed in the case of normal incidence of a plane wave on the array composed of C-and S-shaped strip elements in the vicinity of their lower resonance frequencies. The conditions are established at which the reflected field has the linear polarization orthogonal to that of the incident field.
