We have reported on the detection of the axial distribution at the height of the flame of OH radials in an alcohol burner, in premixed methane/oxygen, and in solid propellant flames using laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) spectroscopy. In this experiment, the influence of substances with different oxidizer contents on the OH fluorescence intensity was investigated. The results indicated that the oxidizer content exerted a strong influence on the combustion condition in the flame.View full textDownload full textKeywordslaser-induced fluorescence, combustion, OH radical, oxidizer contentRelated var addthis_config = { ui_cobrand: "Taylor & Francis Online", services_compact: "citeulike, netvibes, twitter, technorati, delicious, linkedin, facebook, stumbleupon, digg, google, more", pubid: "ra-4dff56cd6bb1830b" }; Add to shortlist Link Permalink http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/02533839.2011.577589
