摘要

The present article demonstrates the dependence of the infrared stimulable luminescence of CaS: Eu~(2+); Sm~(3+) on the anionic partner of the used rare earth dopant compound. Subjected to two different dopant compounds (Eu_2O_3, Sm_2O_3 or EuCl_3, SmCl_3), discrepancies to the common model of trapping and release of the charge carriers are presented. According to temperature dependent measurements of photo- and infrared stimulated luminescence, improved models of the storage mechanism are given.
