1.The repeatability coefficients of variation for the simultaneous determination of free form of 2,3-butanedione (F-diacetyl), total 2,3-butanedione (T-diacetyl), free form of 2,3-pentanedione (F-pentanedione), and total 2,3-pentanedione (T-pentanedione) in beer by gas chromatography with capillary column analysis were 4.6, 8.1, 9.5, and 6.7% (highest), respectively, and were judged acceptable. 2.The reproducibility coefficients of variation for the simultaneous determination of free form of 2,3-butanedione (F-diacetyl), total 2,3-butanedione (T-diacetyl), free form of 2,3-pentanedione (F-pentanedione), and total 2,3-pentanedione (T-pentanedione) in beer by gas chromatography with capillary column analysis were 18.5, 33.3, 18.0, and 15.4% (highest), respectively, and were judged acceptable.
