Reduced Nitrosyl Polyoxomolybdates with the Hitherto Unknown Decamolybdate Y Structure: Preparation and Crystal and Electronic Structures of the Two-Electron Reduced [Mo_10O_25(OMe)_6(NO)]~- and the Four-Electron Reduced [Mo_10O_24(OMe)_7(NO)]~2-

Reaction of either (n-Bu_4N)_2[Mo_5O_13(OMe)_4(NO){Na(MeOH)}]. xMeOH or (n-Bu_4N)_3[Mo_6O_18(NO)] with various reducting agents, including N_2H_4 .2HCl, in methanol or in a mixture of methanol and acetonitrile, yields reduced nitrosyl decamolybdates, among which (n-Bu_4N) [Mo_10O_25(OMe)_6(NO)]((n-Bu_4N)Ⅱ) and two forms of (n- Bu_4N)_2[Mo_10O_24(OMe)_7(NO)]((n-Bu_4N)_2IVa and (n-Bu_4N)_2IVb) have been crystallographically characterized.
