摘要

It's no secret that an aircraft is a huge investment. Every aircraft on ground costs an operator dearly, and minimising this downtime is of utmost importance. Airlines and engineers need to take up suitable steps to help minimise aircraft downtime while ensuring the safe flying of the highly valuable assets. Business of MRO is evolving rapidly. There is worldwide demand for civil and defence MROs. New concepts are emerging at a global level that promotes lean and efficient functioning. To survive the competitiveness of the future, it is inescapable for the MROs to aim for superiority in terms of time, cost and quality of execution. The minimisation of cost and down time will largely dependent upon Competitive Services, Predictive Maintenance, Effective Collaboration, Technology Utilization and Supply Chain Optimization.
