A simple dual-interference-channel quantitative phase microscope is demonstrated by using a cube beamsplitter and a Fresriel biprism. The beam is incident to only one-haif of a tilted cube beamsplitter and then two copies of the incident beam are generated. One Fresnel biprism is used to deflect these two copy beams toward each other and then form an interference pattern. The sample is adjusted to only interact with one-half of the incident beam, and then two interference channels with a relative pi (rad) phase shift in one interferogram can be observed simultaneously.
