Tetraedr conducted demonstration firings from the T381 modernised combat vehicle of its T38 Stilet mobile air-defence missile system from 4-7 October, writes Miroslav Gyurosi.rnThese were conducted at the 174th train-ing firing range of the Belarus Air Force and Air Defence Force at Domanovo.rnA joint development by Tetraedr and Ukraine's Luch design bureau, the T38 Stilet is a major upgrade of the Russian Osa (SA-8 'Gecko') self-propelled surface-to-air missile system. It teams Tetraedr's 9K33-1T Osa-1T upgraded system (which is based on a new MZKT-69222 three-axle wheeled chassis) with a new T382 two-stage missile. The latter is still in development, so the demonstration wasrnconducted using the original 9M33M3 from the Osa-AKM system.
