First maritime-specific Predator UAV lands for US CBP

The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine organisation has received its first General Atomics Predator B unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) specifically equipped for maritime surveillance, writes Martin Streetly. General Atomics describes the vehicle - designated Guardian - as having been modified from a CBP Predator B airframe, and as featuring "structural, avionics and communications" enhancements when compared with the baseline platform.
