USMC conducts MV-22 'digital interoperability' flight tests

The US Marine Corps' (USMC) 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) is conducting flight tests of a new digital interoperability (DI) mission package on board its Bell-Boeing MV-22 Osprey tiltro-tor aircraft, a USMC official told 1HS Jane's. The DI system is designed to facilitate digital exchange of information between various USMC and other friendly aircraft, as well as with ground troops.
