ITE Participating as a Sponsor of the New Connected Vehicle/Autonomous Vehicle Test Bed, GoMentum Station

ITE has joined as a sponsor of the Contra Costa Transportation Authority's (CCTA) new Connected Vehicle/Autonomous Vehicle (CV/AV) test bed, the GoMentum Station. On March 31, 2015, a summit will take place at the new test bed's location, the Concord Naval Weapons Station. CCTA has secured access to the station in Concord, California and has established protocols with the U.S. Navy and the City of Concord to establish the test bed for its CV/AV Program with responsibility to operate and manage it in collaboration with program partners. This 5,000-acre former Navy Weapons Station is the largest secure test facility in the world and will be the center of CV/AV activities.
