In this book Hlumelo Biko, personally engaged in political, economic and social questions, with deep reflections about these themes, with academic studies in the University of Capetown and Georgetown (USA), and executive Chairman of a growth capital oriented investment firm in South Africa, makes an account of the situation of the Republic of South Africa, trying to show at the same time the possibilities and the elements of difficulty present there. The main points of Biko's analysis are about the goals of the generation of the "heroes" who fought at a not small price against apartheid, and how they negotiated with the white dominant power at that time; what they were able to reach among those ends, and the limits of their policies, and probably of the same ends.
