Introduction to Special Issue on Recent Advances in Theory and Application of Modeling and Simulation

The Asia Simulation Conference (AsiaSim) is an annual conference organized by the AsiaSim Federation member societies in cooperation with the Asia Simulation Federation.AsiaSim 2015 is the 15th International Conference held in Jeju, South Korea, November 4-7, 2015. Since 2001, AsiaSim has provided a forum for scientists, academics, and professionals from around Asia to present their latest and exciting research findings invarious fields of modeling, simulation, and their applications. AsiaSim provides the presentation of the high-quality papers in the fields of modeling and simulation methodology, virtual reality, aerospace, e-business, manufacturing, medical, military, networks, transportation, and traffic simulation and general engineering applications. Extinguished papers in the AsiaSim 2015 are selected for the International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing (IJMSSC). The IJMSSC is a journal which provides an international forum for researchers, scholars, and engineers in the fields of system modeling, simulation and scientific computing. After a thorough peer and external reviewing process, only six extended papers are accepted and recommended to publish in the IJMSSC.We thank the peer and external reviewers for their time, effort, and timely response.We wish to express our special thanks to IJMSSC.
