摘要

The lifetimes of strongly superheated n-pentane in a glass capillary were measured with simultaneous high-speed video of boiling-up patterns. The experiments were conducted in the temperature range of 84.7-162.8 ℃ at a pressure on fluid of 0.10,0.29,0.78, and 1.28 MPa. Video data make it possible to assert that viable bubbles arise on the inner wall of a capillary. The number of active nucleation sites is limited. Redistribution of activity between boiling-up centers takes place as the pressure increases.
