Mission: The International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence publishes scholarly research about how the ambient intelligence paradigm builds upon ubiquitous computing and human-centric computer interaction design and is characterized by systems and technologies that are embedded, context-aware, personalized, adaptive and anticipatory in the sense that they can anticipate desires without conscious mediation. The journal also seeks articles extending established lines of work assuming the results of the research have the potential to substantially impact either theory or industry practice. Ground-breaking research articles that stimulate further research in multi-disciplinary domains are particularly encouraged
