Russia has invited Japanese and Chinese companies to participate in building a number of energy infrastructure projects in the Russian Far East. These include oil and gas pipelines, a gas liquefaction plant and a gas chemical facility.rn"In general, Japanese partners could take part in projects to develop pipelines and other transport infrastructure. I mean from Sakhalin Island to Khabarovsk to Vladivostok," Russia's prime minister Vladimir Putin said May 12. The 1830-km line is due to be finished in 2011.
