CO2 emissions have a major impact on greenhouse gas effect, which is a key contributor to global climate change. For any new product development particular attention should be paid to the carbon footprint analysis in the commercial value chain. More sustainable products with less CO2 emissions during their production are more and more preferred, especially if there are no disadvantages in product performance.
