Developing Nations Can Cooperate On Climate Goals, U.N. Says

Unindustrialized countries can help each other reach climate and sustainable development goals, the United Nations said in a report, but some officials from developing countries warn that those initiatives should not come at the expense of help from industrialized countries. The study, presented May 11, on the sidelines of the May 8-18 U.N. Climate Change Conference in Bonn, Germany, identifies the links between countries' climate action plans as part of the Paris Agreement on climate change and other objectives related to the 2030 target in the agreement.
