This book has 18 chapters with each authored by different practitioners-or group of practitioners-and addresses the matter of minerals in 18 different countries. It particularly focuses on the issue of minerals' exploration and exploitation. The book concerns important players in the mining word, in fact, five chapters are devoted to Africa, namely Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia; the American continent is well covered from the North to the South, respectively Canada, Greenland, the United States and Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru; and, there is a special chapter on Australia, China, India and Kazakhstan.
