A recovery is in sight

The Eurozone is likely in the second phase of a double dip recession. The first two quarters of 2020 featured a short, but sharp, recession with real GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth returning in the third quarter. However, intensification and extensions of Covid-19 containment measures were put in place in November, and real GDP likely declined in the fourth quarter of 2020.
