Trevira has completed the transfer of its head office to Bobingen in southern Germany. However, marketing and sales/distribution will continue to operate from the Hattersheim location. "Bobingen is the parent plant of Trevira - it was here that Trevira fibres and filaments were first produced, and we still have the two product lines together in the same location," commented CEO Jorg Hellwig. "As the main site of the development department, Bobingen is important for the future of the group." Earlier this summer, Trevira began production of texturised yarns in Zielona Gora, Poland, having removed part of the production from its plant in Silkeborg, Denmark. Trevira GmbH is a member of Reliance Group India and is Europe's leading manufacturer of branded textile polyester fibres and filament yarns, with production located in Belgium, Denmark, Germany and Poland.
