A new format for Decosit Brussels

When Decosit Brussels (residential & contract international trade fair for fabrics and furnishings) opens on September 9, it will be as a completely new and revamped trade fair, which combines the formerly separate trade events - Decosit, now in its 27th year, and the 5-year old DecoContract. Patrick Geysels of organiser Textirama has observed that market demand has influenced the amalgamation since the division between residential and contract markets has become less distinct. What remains unchanged is that DecoContract showcases window and wallcoverings for hospitality while Decosit continues to target upholstery fabrics for both market segments. Also forming a part of the newly integrated blend will be the special projects, Trend Forum, Hotel Rooms, Decotec and Indigo, all brought together within Alice Town - an interactive space where the three trend themes of the show; Burlesque, Bling and Bunker and the sample bank will also be promoted.
