Puertas and de las Nieves (1997) developed a theoretical approach that allows the determination of the flocculation rate of a suspension from the variation of its turbidity as a function of time. Here, suitable modifications of the referred theoretical approach are implemented in order to calculate the values of the flocculation rate corresponding to an oil-in-water nanoemulsion stabilized with ionic surfactants.%Puertas y de las Nieves (1997) desarrollaron un formalismo teórico que permite la determinación de la constante de flocu-lación de una suspensión a partir de la variación temporal de su turbidez. En este trabajo, se realizan modificaciones adecuadas del desarrollo teórico referido, a objeto de evaluar los valores de la constante de floculación de nanoemulsiones aceite/ agua estabilizadas por surfactantes iónicos.
