Early this month, the White House announced new rules and regulations about how President Obama believes the US government should surveil its citizens and others including foreign leaders. Some of these changes, like requiring more disclosure by the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) concerning its use of National Security Letters, which the bureau can issue without needing a judges approval, are minimal and do not in any way curtail government spying.
