Energy Institute to provide first ESOS Lead Assessors

The Energy Institute (El) has been approved by the Environment Agency to qualify Lead Assessors under the UK Government's Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS). From 1 7th October 2014, members of the El's Register of Professional Energy Consultants (RPEC) and the El's Chartered Energy Managers are eligible to conduct energy audits for organisations looking to comply with ESOS, a mandatory scheme for large UK organisations.
