摘要

Many production machines, when running, are the source of broad-band noise and vibrations. One possible way of removing these unfavourable influences on the environment, and especially on human beings, is elastic base. Here, elastic elements are inserted between the frame of machine and the floor. Under these conditions, the transmission of vibration transferred to the floor declines, along with the level of noise. The dynamic characteristics of a machine placed on an elastic base differ somewhat from those of a machine fixed to the floor with a usual firm support. Therefore, the design of an elastic base has to be resolved with respect to the running ability of the machine and to providing a minimum additional load on the parts resulting from the vibration on the elastic base. By measuring vibrations and establishing the operational deflection shapes, it is possible to verify the correctness of elastic base design or to identify the weak spots in the construction; and to make corrections in the elastic base design or in the construction of the machine itself.
