Non-destructive testing in steel, metal, and engineering industries in Sweden

Above are just some examples of how NDT is used in Swedish industry from raw material to finished product, when justified economically. Indeed, even the ore is evaluated by means of non-destructive methods. NDT equipments are integrated in to the production chain in order not only to locate and reject unacceptable material but to control the production process, for example rolling and welding. In such a way, NDT is the ultimate tool for quality assurance purposes.
