Measuring thickness reduction rate in wall thinning applications

Panametrics' Model 25DL-RR is an ultrasonic precision gauge that makes nondestructive thickness measurements of most materials by transmitting sound into the test part from only one side. This gauge is said to be unique in that it calculates rate of thickness reduction in automotive sheet metal fabrication, or, generally, measurement of rate of thickness reduction in any process which results in material thinning.
