The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) hosted its biennial Aerospace Workshop, Aerospace Event and exhibition from 10-12 April 2018 at the BAWA Centre, Filton, Bristol, UK.On 10 April 2018, the BINDT Aerospace Committee held its one-day workshop titled 'Additive Manufacturing (AM) for Aerospace' and attracted over 40 attendees. The aim of the workshop was to inform delegates of some of the ongoing non-destructive testing (NDT) activities in the aerospace field, from in-situ process monitoring through to as-built component inspection, and provide an insight into the direction of future research.
