Oceanscan E-Type Obstacle Avoidance Sonar increases in popularity

Oceanscan has announced the sale of E-Type Obstacle Avoidance Sonars and Surface Control Systems (SCSs) to AS Geoconsult of Norway. The sonar will be used on AS Geoconsult's new range of ROVs. The addition of the E-Type technology will ideally complement Geoconsult's suite of equipment including state-of-the-art underwater communications, navigation, inertial guidance, seafloor and obstacle avoidance systems.
