Oceanscan and Umbilicals International enter ROV cable market

Oceanscan Limited has announced that it is delighted to be representing the custom cable and hose manufacturer, Umbilicals International. Umbilicals International Inc (formerly Diveline Inc) was formed four years ago by former President of JDR Cable Systems Inc, Colin Zak. By focusing on arduous duty and deep water applications, Umbilicals International and parent company HL Technologies, has seen rapid growth for cable solutions in the demanding geophysical, geotechnical and oceanographic markets. Production has been expanded to stay ahead of demand and UI currently operate from a 36,000 sq ft facility in Stafford, Texas. In addition to new manufacture, significant capability has allowed in-house servicing and repair of large marine cable and umbilicals such as streamer lead-ins and air gun cables.
