Industrial growth, the limited amount of construction material, customer demand for product quality and reliability, and public demand for industrial plant safety are among factors that enhanced the need for the most reliable inspection methods. For many decades, NDT has played a very significant role in fulfilling this demand in Malaysia and throughout the world. Thus NDT is one of the most essential tools that determine the survival of industries. In Malaysia alone, industries have spent billions of dollars for various NDT services and this value is expected to increase with increasing complexity in plant operation and maintenance.rnMINDTCE 09, the Malaysia International NDT Conference and Exhibition, to be held 20-21 July 2009 at the Legend Hotel, KualarnLumpur, aims to gather all NDT experts and practitioners to share knowledge and experience with the industry.
