New CEO at FLIR Systems

Earl Lewis has retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of FLIR Systems, the world's leading thermal imaging company. Andrew Teich, formerly President of the company's Commercial Systems division is taking his place, allowing Mr Lewis to assume a senior advisor role to aid in the transition. He will also remain Chairman of the Board of Directors of FLIR. Mr Teich has almost forty years' experience in the thermal imaging market. He rose through the ranks of sales engineer and sales manager to Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Inframetrics, the infrared camera manufacturer that was ultimately acquired by FLIR Systems in 1999. Since the year 2000, Mr Teich has undertaken a variety of top management roles throughout the FLIR Systems business.
