By installing condition monitoring systems from Schaeffler on 56 wind turbines, Spanish renewable energy provider Geolica is making significant annual cost savings. For wind farms, any unplanned downtime caused by damaged wind turbine drive train components can have significant economic consequences in terms of lost production and costly repairs.
