COMMENT

This issue of Insight focuses on condition monitoring (CM) and includes two papers on wind turbine CM (one by Song et al and the other by Li et al), a paper on damage estimation for rolling element bearings (by Kogan, Bortman and Klein), a paper on sensing for prognostics of rolling element bearings (by Khmelnitsky et al) and a paper on rolling bearing CM (by Gelman and Patel). The British Institute of NDT (BINDT) has established a leadership role in promoting the science, technologies and practice of CM.
