19th World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing a huge success

The 19th World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing, held in Munich from 13-17 June 2016, exceeded all expectations in terms of the quality and quantity of the technical programme, the size and coverage of the exhibition, the number of delegates and participants and the social programme. The conference, 'kicked-off' by WCNDT President Matthias Purschke, began in true Bavarian style as a local brass band excited the audience. Bernd Sibler, Secretary of the Bavarian State Ministry of Education, Science and the Arts, welcomed all attendees. ICNDT Chair Mike Farley announced ICNDT award winners and regional representatives and sponsors provided welcomes and messages of gratitude to the German Society for NDT (DGZfP) for providing such a wonderful venue for this gathering of the international NDT community.
