UT thickness gauges

Danatronics has announced two new ultrasonic thickness gauges: the ECHO 7 and ECHO 8. Both gauges offer 1 micron resolution, storage of up to 5000 applications set-ups, 3.5" sunlight-readable colour display, datalogger with up to 32 GB of removable micro-SD card memory, vibrate on alarm and live A-scan with real-time adjustments of range, gain and rectification, all in a custom-engineered high-impact case. The new ECHO 7 and 8 series can non-destructively measure the thickness of essentially any engineering material from 0.004-20", depending on material and transducer selection. The ECHO 7 series utilises single-element transducers up to 20 MHz, while the ECHO 8 can use single-element and dual transducers.
