Having spent last weekend at the Singapore F1 Grand Prix barely able to distinguish one car from another - let alone knowing what position they were in - I reflected on how useful it would be to have an Fl augmented reality (AR) system. AR is where digital information is overlaid on the real world using devices such as smart glasses, phones or tablets to enhance the user's understanding and experience. This would have certainly prevented me from cheering on the wrong driver during each lap!
