Atypical applications of phased arrays

The second 'lunch and learn' meeting of the Scottish Branch was organised and hosted by Olympus NDT in the Urban Hotel, Glasgow, on 23 November 2017 and 25 attendees enjoyed a detailed presentation by Gary Luckett of Olympus NDT. The talk focused on atypical industrial applications of phased array technology, including composite wind turbine inspection and applications of Olympus's flexible array transducer. After the presentation, Gary organised several demonstrations using a variety of instrumentation and arrays in an interactive session.
