Army National Guard lays out activation plan for Cyber Protection Teams

The Army National Guard has laid out activation plans for all 10 of its Cyber Protection Teams, which will happen in three tranches over the next three years. In a May 25 letter received by lawmakers last month and reviewed by Inside the Pentagon, Lt. Gen. Timothy Kadavy, the director of the Army National Guard, told Congress that the Guard is working with Army Cyber Command and others to "man, train and equip this new capability in a manner responsive to federal and state requirements in support of homeland defense activities."
