Know what information your Web browser shares about you on the Internet

We've written plenty of articles on protecting your security and privacy when on the Internet, but no matter how careful you are, there's still some information about you and your browsing habits that can be grabbed right out of Internet Explorer. Most of the information that can be gathered is pretty tame stuff―browser version number, default language, CPU class of the computer―but other information like the GUID (Globally Unique ID) for your browser or how long you view specific Web pages might make you feel a bit uncomfortable. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about this, but you can understand what type of information is being shared.
