When you use warm colors in your design, several things can happen, depending on saturation and the combination in which you use the colors. For example, if you design something with a 100-percent red background you're suggesting anger, speed, or urgency, to name a few responses. That's why stop signs and fire engines are red. That's also why red is one of the top-selling colors for sports cars. You don't want to design a promotional piece for a new high blood pressure medicine in red.
